St. Augustine and Service Dog Test

Everyone,

I want to apologize for my negative post yesterday, but I was extremely pissed off that a service member (yes he is Army but we are on the same damn team) that served his country and his fellow soldiers honorably and with out wavier could be screwed so horribly. Hes been through 2 congregates and 2 senatorials and he still does not have his benefits. BULLSHIT. Thank you very much for your help and support. We are working on it but it takes "time" as every single person on the phone with VA benefits has said, guess 18 months ain't enough. Ok im done with that right now for this post.

Today when went down to St. Augustine Florida to get the dogs out and about around a bunch of people, o and to let them get a little bit of history, lol. All the dogs did really well. No problems at all. We had lots of people approach us and say what a great thing the dogs were and some were actual supports of K9s! So that was fantastic.

Tomorrow we have a huge day! We take our AKC Canine good citizen test and the ADI Assistance Dog Public Access Certification test. The dogs and I and the rest of the warriors have pretty much through out the 3 weeks here at k9s been doing the test everyday.  Our dogs have completed each task on each test a hundred times. Now its time to do them in a successive order and be evaluated by Bret. I envision a pretty easy day tomorrow.  We actually plan on doing most of the test at the Jacksonville airport while we wait for my lovely wife Elizabeth to arrive. Im sure she will be thrilled to have 3 huge dogs giving her kisses as she comes through the turnstiles.

Well Im off to get some sleep before our big test!!! Axel is already curled up and passed out on my legs! Good night, wish us luck.
